Keeping it Honest: Understanding Real Estate and Mortgage Fraud
3 hours of Connecticut Elective Continuing Education
Along with the recent increase in identity theft and numerous high profile business scandals, real estate fraud has become a major industry issue. Real estate is no stranger to the white collar criminal. Many will use real estate as a vehicle to steal the life savings out of unsuspecting home owners and defraud lenders out of millions of dollars for their own gain. This course will identify several types of real estate fraud schemes, both minor and major, and how you as a real estate professional can protect and educate your clients on this growing problem.
This course is offered through The CEShop, Inc., but all other bonus materials are offered exclusively by Connecticut Real Estate School Online.
